THE STANDARD/MIAMI LOCATED ON BELLE ISLE IS PROPOSING TO RECONSTRUCT THE EASTERN WING OF GUEST ROOMS. THE EXISTING ONE-STORY GUEST-ROOM BUILDING IS PROPOSED TO BE DEMOLISHED.

IN ITS PLACE IS PROPOSED A 300 CAR AUTOMATED PARKING FACILITY PLUS A NEW TWO STORY EASTERN GUEST WING WHICH IS DESIGNED IN THE SPIRIT OF THE WESTERN GUEST WING.

IN ORDER TO BETTER SHIELD THE HOTEL FROM NEARBY HOMES ON FARREY LANE A NEW 'ECO-GARDEN' IS PROPOSED, COMPRISED OF THREE ROWS OF NATIVE SPECIES TREES WHICH WILL PROVIDE A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE.

THE PROJECT IS CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL APPROVALS.
