I have been retained by the Town of LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA (LBTS) to act as Architectural Reviewer of all new projects coming before the Town. Working in concert with the Town Planner we are striving to guide all new and renovated architecture towards the Mid-Century Modern style - which is the original style of the town when founded in the 1950's.

Along with the government funded reconstruction and landscaping of Commercial Boulevard the new architecture coming on line in LBTS will be transform this charming seaside pedestrian-oriented community where new construction is limited to no more than four stories.

The photographs shown here are from the new LBTS Architectural Design Standards (ADS) which provide a guide for the layman as to guiding architectural design decisions towards the mId-Century style.
